Background and Rules
Those who broke the oath made to Isildur were cursed. As the Third Age passed, their bodies decayed until only dust remained. Even so, they did not find rest. They endured as spectral forms of their former selves. Their weapons have long since lost their edge, yet mortal armour still offers them no defence. For anyone who strays into the realm of the dead, a grim fate awaits, unless that person happens to be Isildur’s heir.
Warriors of the Dead are formidable enemies and can cut down even the most heavily armoured foes, provided they win the Fight. Including a banner bearer in your Army of the Dead helps with those crucial Duel rolls.
The box contains one metal miniature: a Warrior of the Dead equipped with a banner, supplied with a Citadel 25mm Base. The model’s rules are found in Armies of The Lord of The Rings.
